As kitschy as this name sounds, it is still a solid drink and falls into the "Do" category for St. Patrick's Day. It is a flavoring to a drink that basically lets the whiskey stand out for itself. The overall flavor is of orange whiskey, so very pleasant.
- 1 1/2 oz. Irish whiskey
- several dashes Pernod
- several dashes triple sec
- several dashes Luxardo
- several dashes Peychaud's Bitters
- orange peel
Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake or stir and strain over new ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Drop orange peel into the glass.
