White Lion

I don't know how someone got away with naming this a White Lion. It's made with dark rum--black in this case. Either way it is a killer. The Kraken is 47 percent alcohol, and two ounces will have you seeing double. I didn't have raspberry syrup, but Chambord makes a delicious and alcoholic substitute.
  • 2 oz. dark rum
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz. orgeat syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. raspberry syrup (Chambord used)
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
