More pink than red, the Red Apple is still a fine drink using grapefruit juice and applejack. There's not much else to it, so I added a wafer-thin apple slice as a garnish.
2 oz. apple brandy
2 oz. grapefruit juice
3-5 dashes of grenadine
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
